The Women's Fund of Essex County

The Women’s Fund of Essex County’s 2019 Power of the Purse was held at The Academy at Penguin Hall in Wenham, MA on May 15th. Based on the Victor Hugo quote “ As the purse is emptied, the heart is filled.”, the event raises funds through attendance and the raffle of a beautiful array of donated designer purses and handbags. Proceeds will support grants to programs serving women and girls in need or at risk throughout Essex County.
